The Nizhnevartovsk Fish Cannery "Santa Maria" is one of the largest fish processing enterprises in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra.

Currently, LLC "Nizhnevartovsk fish canning plant "Santa-Maria" is a manufacturer of more than 230 types of fish products in convenient branded packaging for consumers, such as cold and hot smoked fish products, dried, salted, preserves, oils, caviar, fish semi-finished products, fish preserves.

The market for product sales includes wholesale and retail trade enterprises, public catering enterprises, as well as its own retail network. Currently, our products are delivered throughout the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, to cities such as Megion, Langepas, Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk, Lyantor, Nyagan, Raduzhny, Kogalym, as well as to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, to cities such as Noyabrsk, Novy Urengoy, Muravlenko, cities of the Tomsk region, Novosibirsk, Moscow and the Moscow region.

The Santa Maria fish processing enterprise does not belong to the number of enterprises working on a conveyor belt. The enterprise works on expanding the product range and improving quality. Today, our enterprise produces products for any taste, starting from fresh-frozen fillet and fish mince and ending with delicate preserves and balik products. Since October 2013, the enterprise has resumed production of canned fish in tin cans. Modern processing technologies allow preserving the nutritional properties in canned fish, but unlike fresh fish, canned fish is always ready to eat and does not require additional storage conditions. To date, the enterprise produces 30 types of canned fish: natural, in oil, tomato, minced fish, fish-vegetable, with side dishes of vegetables and cereals, as well as delicate jellies and pâtés.

Canned food is a strategic food product, its production is especially relevant today, considering the difficult economic and political situation in the country and the bans on the import of food products from EU countries.
